Kaitoko Matauraka
Kia ora koutou te whanau o Kati Mahaki,
We are very pleased to introduce a new member of staff to our Makaawhio team, Robyn McConchie who is our new 'Kaitoko Matauraka'. We are thrilled to have Robyn with us for this next year focused on supporting a lift in our education/matauranga outcomes for Kati Mahaki whanau. Robyn is working out of the office for 20 hours per week so please feel free to pop in to say hello. The Runaka is in the process of developing our education & matauranga goals and we will be inviting your input and feedback over the next couple of months.

Kia ora, I’m Robyn.
I have recently been employed by Ngāi Tahu to fulfill the Te Rūnanga o Makaawhio Kaitoko position. I will be working alongside the Mātauranga Pou (Education Portfolio) to lift educational outcomes for Kāti Mahaki. This role is 20 hours per week and I also work two days a week at Grey Main School for Term 1.
I am excited to have moved from Kaikōura to the beautiful West Coast. My dog Jed and I have started investigating the gorgeous bush walks and sunsets.
I am currently living in Kaiata, Greymouth and enjoy my drive down to the Hokitika office of Te Rūnanga o Makaawhio.
I can be contacted at the Office 03 7557885, email Robyn.McConchie@ngaitahu.iwi.nz and 027 6353436.
Āku mihi ki a koe
