Marae Development
In order to meet the timeline, the application for funding has gone through to the Ngāi Tahu marae Development Fund.
In the development stage of the marae, if TROM could make the marae green energy ready using solar or wind power, there is a contestable fund that can be applied for and TROM would be one of the first marae to trial being green energy ready.
There are a few details for komiti to consider with the marae development which will be discussed at a later date eg: where to place the caretakers whare, can we have a lean too beside the whare and container to keep firewood dry etc
